How to place your account on hold to prevent new Leads from being created, and end all existing conversations

Overview:

On the Connections Page, we've introduced a new functionality that allows Team Admins and Team Leaders the ability to place their Team into a "Paused" account status.

A paused account status, will prevent new leads from being created for All team members. The purpose of this functionality is to allow Admins and Team Leaders to respond quickly on their end in the event of any system malfunction, or compliance issues in the event that the Verse Support team is unavailable.

In addition to the ability to place the Team in a "Paused State", Team Leaders and Team Admins are able to mass end all active Conversations.

Ending all conversations will change the status of any lead that is currently being actively worked, from "new lead" to "unqualified".

Note:

  • Pausing your Account will Affect the ENTIRE team, and will prevent any leads from being created for any team member until the account has been unpaused.

  • Mass Ending conversations in this manner does not trigger external API webhook subscriptions. Mass Ending conversations via this method will end ALL conversations for ALL team members.

  • Leads that are ended using the mass end conversation method will also prevent Verse from responding to this lead, should the lead continue to attempt to communicate with Verse.

  • Users will be notified via Email should a lead attempt to continue the conversations, and it is recommended that you reach out to the lead directly in order to handle any inquiry outside of the Verse system.

How To Pause your Team:

  1. As an Admin, or Team Leader, Navigate to your Settings>Connections page

  2. Click the Pause Account button that is displayed on the page beneath the "Account Status" section

  3. As this action is possibly destructive, you will be prompted to type in "CONFIRM" (must be all caps).

  4. Type in "CONFIRM" and click the Pause Account button to confirm you would like to place the Team on Pause.

  5. Your Team is now Paused, and new Leads will be prevented from being created for any team member until your team has been unpaused.

How to Unpause your Team:

  1. As an Admin, or Team Leader, Navigate to your Settings>Connections page

  2. Click the Unpause Account button that is displayed on the page beneath the "Account Status" section

  3. As this action is possibly destructive, you will be prompted to type in "CONFIRM" (must be all caps).

  4. Type in "CONFIRM" and click the Unpause Account button.

  5. Your team is now Unpaused, and new Leads will now be allowed to be created.

How to Mass End Conversations For your Team:

Note: Mass Ending Conversations will end ALL active conversations for ALL team Members, if you would like this action to be done for one team member, please contact your account manager. This functionality is intended as an "emergency" solution.

  1. As an Admin, or Team Leader, Navigate to your Settings>Connections page

  2. Click the End Conversations button that is displayed on the page beneath the "Account Status" section

  3. As this action is possibly destructive, you will be prompted to type in "CONFIRM" (must be all caps).

  4. Type in "CONFIRM" and click the End Conversations button.

  5. All Active Leads will now be ended. Please not that depending upon the number of active leads that you currently have across all Team Members
